About the Role
As an hourly paid instructor in the Informatics Department at IBA Kolding, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of aspiring informatics students. We are seeking individuals who are experts in the field and can bring practical insights to the classroom. Depending upon your area of expertise you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in various subjects related to AI and Games, Web API Development, Information Technology and Global Development, Agile Development and Open-Source Documentation.
Key Responsibilities include
- Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and practical sessions in line with the curriculum.
- Provide guidance and support to students to foster their understanding and application of informatics concepts.
- Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate real-world examples into teaching materials.
- Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
- Master's or PhD in a relevant field (Informatics, Computer Science, etc.).
- Strong expertise and practical experience in AI and Games, Web API Development, Information Technology and Global Development, Agile Development, Open Source Documentation.
- Specifically experience in some of the following areas: AI algorithm for games, Action prediction, waypoint, REST,XML and Json, Node.js and Typescript, digital culture and ethics, Coding standards, package managing, version control, testing frameworks, SCRUM, Extreme programming, Version control systems, automated testing techniques, Continuous integration and deployment .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is advantageous.
The position is hourly paid with approx. 20 hours weekly. Your place of work is IBA, Havneparken 1, 6000 Kolding.
