We are looking for an experienced Service and Support Coordinator whose main responsibilities will be supporting our customers worldwide either by phone or online, and at all times, to give the best and fastest support possible. The function also includes coordinating the other Support coordinators globally, secure alignment of activities and keep the overview of ongoing tasks within the support team members. At the same time secure that support requests are handled, and needed action initiated.
The Service and Support Coordinator should occasionally also be able to visit customers onsite for service, support, inspections, etc. Thus expect travelling days up 30 days a year.
Main responsibilities
- Daily support to Gram Equipment customers on service desk.
- Being able to coordinate the roles for other Service and Support coordinators globally.
- Making quotations and orders on service tasks related to the support function in coordination with the Service and warranty, Resource manager.
- Handling claim and warranty cases and ensure correct filing.
- Secure that activities related to claim and warranty are aligned with the Service and warranty, Resource manager.
- Ensure that customers are updated and kept informed on status and progress
- Performing onsite support to customers worldwide.
- Participate in 24/7 support function
- Support the installation & commissioning teams and service & warranty teams when they are onsite
- Support upgrade and spare part teams, when needed

Your background
You have a background as an engineer, or the like, supplemented with business/customer support. Furthermore if you can tick the following boxes it will be a great advantage:
- Strong electrical and technical background with insight into Mechnical Engineering and Automation
- Experience with and insights into programming, preferably Allen Bradley and alternatively Siemens.
- Strong knowledge of Ice Cream production equipment
- Communicate complex technical matters in English, both oral and writing to all levels in the organization and to costumers.
- Extreme strong service and customer orientation
- Cross cultural understanding
- Self-driven
- Team player.
